P.43 House

Detached house with two floors and basement in the Empordà Golf course urbanization.

This house is developed on a plot with direct views of the golf course. The orientation of the plot and its location in relation to the street and the views over the golf course, favours an L-shaped solution generating the largest possible façade, well oriented on its bisector and leaving most of the garden to the south.

The building is a large rough stone box from which a second appendix looms on the ground floor with which it is twinned forming a second stuccoed and smooth skin that appears over the entire façade. This set of textures and materials is highlighted in a simple cubic design, where the scarce interior materials (white walls, white lacquered wood and white wood flooring) are also enhanced with the changes in height of false ceilings and with indirect lights.

This functional program is carried out almost entirely on the ground floor with the living room, dining room and kitchen overflowing to the outside porch that acts as a filter and frame between the open space of the garden and golf course and the intimacy of the interior. Three bedrooms add to the plan of this floor. The main bedroom, which occupies the first floor, completes the main functional plan. The basement floor contains the garage and service rooms.
